Taking a trip to Sephora can be a little mind-boggling; so i thought why not share some of my current favorites of this month to give recommendations for your next Sephora trip!

Marc Jacobs Genius Gel $48 (38 Biege Deep)

The number one product I always invest in is a good foundation. I have such oily skin, so I personally love mattifying foundations. I've tried different brands from NARS, MakeUp Forever, to Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. Don't get me wrong, those foundations are good, but not as good as the Marc Jacobs Genius Gel foundation. If i could describe it in one word, it'd be AMAZING. First, the package screams luxurious and chic. The pill-shaped, frosted bottle even makes your vanity look that good! The foundation glides on so well. This formula gives you a medium to full coverage without feeling so heavy on your skin. Very silky light weight! From what I said before, I love mattifying foundations. But Marc Jacobs gives you that mattifying effect with a nice glow, which looks so healthy on your skin. I'd have to say, this foundation last pretty long & is a great canvas for any powder blushes or bronzers since the color is still there by the end of the day! Amazing product; so worth the price.

The most collected item I currently have are lipsticks. You can find great ones at drug stores and high end places so every time I do errands at a Walmart or Target, I'm always peeking at the cosmetics section. When it comes to lipsticks I am currently loving YSL. A little on the pricy side, but worth every penny! The color payoff is wonderful, glides on so beautifully; especially rouge muse. I personally am so paranoid when wearing vibrant or dark lipstick to school because I'm afraid it will smudge all over my face without me knowing! With that said, this lipsticks actually stains your lips after about an hour of wear which I love. It moisturizes your lips while giving you this beautiful perfect red color-- ugh I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH. If you're thinking of purchasing a lipstick from the YSL line, pick up Rouge Muse a classic red can never go wrong! looks amazing in every skin tone.
